Wenger, the longest-serving and most successful manager in the club's history, is delighted to be extending his 14-year reign.

Wenger has steered Arsenal to seven major trophies over the last 14 years, including the 2003/2004 Premier League title without losing a single match. The news gives the Gunners the perfect boost before their opening Barclays Premier League fixture at Liverpool on Sunday.
